Connect SEER to your Slack workspace for real-time notifications

Setting Up Slack Notifications
Get instant alerts when your pipelines succeed, fail, or need attention

Step 1: Connect Your Workspace

  1. Go to your SEER dashboard and navigate to "Integrations"
  2. Click "Connect Slack Workspace"
  3. Authorize SEER to access your Slack workspace
  4. Select the channels where you want to receive notifications

Step 2: Configure Notification Settings

  1. Choose which events trigger notifications (failures, successes, warnings)
  2. Set notification frequency to avoid spam
  3. Customize message templates for different event types
  4. Test your configuration with a sample notification

Step 3: Channel Management

  1. Add SEER bot to your desired channels
  2. Set different channels for different types of alerts
  3. Configure channel-specific notification rules
  4. Manage permissions and access levels
Notification Types
  • FAILURE
    Pipeline execution failed
  • SUCCESS
    Pipeline completed successfully
  • WARNING
    Pipeline took longer than expected
  • INFO
    Pipeline status updates
Troubleshooting
  • • Bot not responding - check permissions
  • • Missing notifications - verify channel settings
  • • Too many alerts - adjust frequency settings
  • • Token expired - reconnect workspace
  • • Channel access denied - add bot to channel
